These four terms are all you need in order to read the calendar.

Start indoorsSowing on a windowsill long before it is warm enough outdoors.
Sow outdoorsThe seed goes straight to its final position in the bed.
PlantingSomething ready goes into the bed: a young plant, clove, set or tuber.
HarvestThe window in which there is something to pick.

There are about four weeks between the Upper Rhine and the Erzgebirge. Pick your federal state and the timings shift automatically.
